The four poster hand carved bed simply must be seen, and then slept in, to be appreciated. “On a snowy afternoon in Guelph, I decided to stay an extra night last minute. I looked up bed and breakfasts in the area, and came across this place. I called after booking online, and Janet was so helpful and accommodating. When I arrived I was amazed at the beauty of the older building, inside and out. Attention to detail was evident everywhere. It had a homey, warm, welcoming feel throughout the whole stay. The room was amazing for the price, spacious, clean, modern mixed with the feel of when the house was built. Breakfast in the morning was beyond amazing, and Janet took extra care to make me the perfect breakfast sandwich. Real coffee, fresh ground. She was lovely to be around in the morning as well. I would come back any time!.”

“Wonderful stay and friendly hosts! We stayed in the queen suite which was super roomy, and the location was close enough to downtown to walk, but far enough for peace and quiet. Lovely little breakfast and the host even provided us almond milk for coffee. Great for a luxury getaway..”

“Absolutely perfect!! The house is gorgeous, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, quiet, and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. The location is perfect, a short walk to the downtown. Janet is a very gracious hostess. I had to change the length of my stay at the last moment due to a family emergency and she was very flexible, accommodating and considerate.
