Check In, Out

Check-in time begins anytime after 4:00 p.m.unless you have chosen the early check in option when booking.  Check in is simple , easy and contactless……what this means is you contact us the day before your arrival and we provide you with a unique door code for access to the building , directions to your room and any other instructions. Arrangements can be made for early check-in for an addition fee of $35 . Any reservation checking in before 4pm is charged treated as early check in.

The premisses are monitored in the common areas and throughout the property for guest safety.

Check-out: By 11:00 AM.
If you wish to stay with us a little longer (2pm) we are happy to accommodate your request. This is an additional $35 charge.


Payment Options

Payment by cash or e-transfer is preferred, however we except Mastercard and visa or debit , Your credit information is taken to secure your room, for damages and cancelation at time of booking. Payment can be taken anytime after you book up until the time of check out. A receipt is given for all payment forms. 13% HST tax applies to all reservation.


Cancellation

To cancel a reservation

We understand that life is unpredictable and sometimes plans change.  We are a small business and cancellations affect us significantly, therefore we must adhere to a firm cancellation policy.  In the event of a cancellation of your reservation, more than 7 days prior to your arrival date there will be no charge to your card on file. If a cancellation of a reservation occurs 7 days or less prior to your check-in date, the full amount of the reservation will be charged to your credit card. There are no refunds for early check out. Should you require to move your reservation date a $50 admin fee applies. Cancellations for large group reservations for weddings and parties will be negotiated at the time of the reservation. If you, the guest, has Covid and you cancel within our policy same rules apply. Full room rate is charged plus and admin fee $50, we will send you a gift certificate for future date to be used within 6 months of cancellation date. If you are unable to use with 6 months you forfeit your gift certificate. Some black out days apply.


Room Availability

We strive to provide rooms as reserved by our guests. However, in the event the room you have selected is not available for any reason, a room of equal or greater value will be provided to our guests at no extra cost. We reserve the right to move your reservation within the same class of room or higher. ****Room decor and prices are subject to change without notice. We are always upgrading our rooms to keep things fresh, current and in good repair.


Free wireless high-speed internet service,cable tv , one parking space, and a complimentary full hot breakfast included with your stay.Breakfast is served in the main floor dining room. Room service is an additional fee. In room breakfast is perfect for those who have dietary restrictions or preferences. Please note breakfast is provided at 8:00 am -10 am . Should you require early check out or have an early start to your day please let host know when booking and we can provide options for self serve. Additional cars are charged $10 per night. We do provide onsite parking complimentary…how amazing is that , however, the parking lot is not suitable for Large cars and trucks but doable . Those with larger vehicles can park on Queen st over night at no charge If you find it difficult to maneuver in the parking lot .

Amenities/Breakfast


We have a strict NO Smoking policy with a $500 cleaning fee. No smoking on the Penthouse or Grandview balconies or inside any rooms. A smoking area provided at the front of the building.

Damage policy

The registered guest is responsible for any damages to the premises caused by wilful neglect or carelessness, and will be liable to Norfolk guest-house for all costs associated with any replacements or repairs needed.These charges will be applied to credit card on file. You are responsible to tell the host upon arrival if your room is in disrepair, not upon check out. We inspect all of our rooms before guest arrival. If a room can not be rented due to neglect. The cost of each night the room is unavailable to others will be added to the bill.

Fines


We are pet friendly. Please call host to get permission to bring your dog as some restrictions apply. A $39 fee  per reservation per each pet. We can only take dogs in certain rooms and it is up to the host to except your pet or not.
