It all started when…
Nestled in the heart of Guelph, Norfolk Guest House is a cherished gem with a rich history and a warm, welcoming charm. Built in 1865 by James T. Brill, a prominent Guelph merchant and former pig farmer, this stately home has been a cornerstone of the community for generations. In 1998, the house began a new chapter when it was lovingly purchased with a vision to transform it into a luxury bed and breakfast.
Over the years, Norfolk Guest House has garnered widespread recognition, consistently winning top awards year after year. These accolades, based on client feedback and independent reviews, reflect our unwavering commitment to excellence and the memorable experiences we provide for every guest.
From the very beginning, Norfolk Guest House has been a labor of love. Each year, we have grown and evolved, continually enhancing the Inn to create a more luxurious and memorable experience for our guests. What started as a simple yet elegant accommodation has blossomed into a multifaceted destination offering more than just a place to stay. Guests can now enjoy indulgent in-room massages and celebrate life’s special moments with intimate weddings held on our beautiful grounds.
Our journey has been one of passion, creativity, and dedication. We are deeply proud of our history and excited about the endless possibilities the future holds. Norfolk Guest House is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place to connect, celebrate, and unwind. We look forward to welcoming guests for many years to come as we continue to write the story of this award-winning and remarkable home.
